N. Brooke Lieb

N. Brooke Lieb is the current Program Director of FourWinds Academy. She completed the Healer Certification Program at FourWinds in 2014, serves on the Board of FourWinds, and is currently training in Crystal Surgery at the Master’s Certification Level with Vivien Schapera.

Brooke served as the Director of the Teacher Certification Program (2008 - 2018) and de-facto Executive Director (2008 - Present) at The American Center for the Alexander Technique, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 (ACAT), where she received her certification as a Teacher of the Alexander Technique in 1989, joined the faculty as Associate Trainer in 1992 and began leading classes as Senior Trainer in 1992. Founded in 1964, ACAT started training teachers in 1967 and closed the training course in December 2018. ACAT is in the process of dissolving the corporation and will transfer the Teacher Certification Curriculum and the website with ACAT’s historical timelines to FourWinds when dissolution is complete.

In addition to Crystal Surgery, Brooke is a Nationally Certified Teacher of the Alexander Technique (ACAT, ‘89), and is trained in CranioSacral Therapy I and II, and Somato Emotional Release I and II (Upledger Institute, 1994 - 1996).

She maintains a private practice, seeing in-person clients in New York City and Bucks County, PA, and works remotely over video and phone with clients around the globe.

Brooke has been on the Visiting Faculty at Vivien and Neil Schapera’s Teacher Certification Program, Alexander Technique of Cincinnati; and at Nancy Romita’s ATMidAtlantic Teacher Training Apprenticeship. Brooke regularly presents at AmSAT ACGMs (2009, 2010, 2012-2018, 2021) and at The International Congress of the Alexander Technique (2008 in Lugano Switzerland; 2015 in Limerick, Ireland; 2018 in Chicago, Illinois).
