Drum Making Workshop

$140.00 for 16" round Diameter hard maple wood drum frame with natural elk hide includes beater.
OR
Cost for 14" Drum, same as above but smaller. $ 125.00
OR
Cost for 14" drum Octagon (8 sided) red oak wood frame with beater.
Its a heavier drum $125.00

We have had a special opportunity come up, that will also be the very last FWA class at Crossgate -- a drum making workshop with Tony Showa.

 

Date: Saturday June 12, 2010

Time: 1 - 3pm.

Place: 4157 Crossgate Square, Cincinnati, OH 45236

 

The cost includes all the necessary supplies and tools, plus $20 to FourWinds Academy. This class is not about just putting the pieces together, Tony includes NA teachings regarding what the drum means to the Native American People. 

 

There is space for a total of 10 people. First come first served.

We must collect the money up front so that Tony can order from his suppliers, ensuring sufficient rawhide and allowing shipping time too.

 

Please use the FWA registration form ( http://www.4windsacademy.org/Untitled-4ARegistration.htm )  to register and mail in your full registration form and fee by June 3 and remember to specify which drum you are making.

 

Note: Please remember that we have begun our move out of the space -- so no payment plans and no special arrangements can be accommodated -- be absolutely sure to fill in the registration form in full and include payment as well as specifying which drum you are making.
